Marie Mosquera joined the Gibraltar National Museum in 2002 initially as a Personal Assistant to the Director. She has been involved in a broad spectrum of administration and organisational roles including conference organisation, logistical support during archaeological excavations and data input.

In 2011 Marie became the Collections Manager having responsibility for the cataloguing, monitoring and care of the museum collections. She continues in her role with conference organisation, assists with arrangements for temporary exhibitions and the refurbishment of museum galleries and displays.

She has since taken on the role of Office Manager.

Prior to joining the museum team Marie had been a staff nurse for 7 years, 5 of which were spent in the Royal Navy. She retrained in the Navy to complete a further two and a half years in a social work role within the Royal Navy Welfare Department
