Royal Visits King Edward VII

The dockyard works were visited by King Edward VII in 1903.

During his visit he set the coping stone on the East steps of No. 3 Dock which he named King Edward VII’s Dock. Coincidentally, the first warship to enter this dock was H.M.S. King Edward VII. These photographs are of this royal visit to Gibraltar in 1903.
